About Washburn--it is a fine town with a great harbor and marina. It is a progressive, engaged community with talented citizens and good schools. We also boast some fine restaurants and galleries. And Washburn had the insight to preserve its greatest resource--its lakeshore. It is all a public hiking trail with beautiful parks at either end and five public beaches. It doesn't get much better than that.
